WinterLand Cats is located in the mountains of Northwestern Arizona. We breed two breeds of long-haired cats. The first is the Siberian Cat out of Russia.  We specialize in silver Siberians. Three of our adults were imported directly from Russia. Gvidon, a silver classic male, Stesha, a brown mackerel tabby female, and Rada, a silver mackerel tabby female, were imported in 2005. One of our queens, Anna, a silver broken mackerel tabby,  was bred here, in the United Sates, and comes to us from Siberian Beauty Cattery, located in Los Angeles, CA. We are very greatful to Eleonora of Siberian Beauty for her assistance in helping us to acquire Gvidon, Stesha, and Rada, and for her generosity in agreeing to sell us Siberian Beauty Anna, who truly is a Siberian beauty.

Our second long haired breed is a new breed called Leopolds. This breed, is registered with TICA as an Experimental breed, and will be going through the new breed process within TICA. We expect to ask for advancement to Registration status at the 2008 TICA Annual. The Leopold is a large domestic breed reminiscent of the wild Snow Leopard, but is derived solely from existing domestic Championship breeds of cats. The only accepted color for the Leopold, at this time, is the silver spotted variety.
